Monster Hunter Portable 3rd

We've always been huge fans of Monster Hunter. In fact the reason why we bought our PSP is because of this game. It's just awesome that it now has two spin-offs: the online Monster Hunter Frontier and the cute-cute Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Airu Village and eight series: Monster Hunter, Monster Hunter G , Monster Hunter Freedom, Monster Hunter 2, Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Monster Hunter Tri , Monster Hunter Portable 3rd.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is totally different from its predecessor games. Despite that, we're loving it.

1. World Maps= VAST. Psychoserum is a must (at least until we get used to where the main monsters are.)

2. New icons.

3. Village Farm has improved a lot.

Fishing and insect gathering have become easier.

Hunter can send up to 4 felynes to mine and this time using pickaxes not bombs.

Felynes can be sent off to quests and they bring home items.

Um, do you want it rare or well-done? =D

4. New Monsters = New Armor Sets & Weapons = Yay!!! :-)

5. We can now bring two felyne fighters during solo quests.
6. +++ We can armor them up. So kawaii!!! ^o^

7. Speaking of kawaii, check this. We this pig.

8. Instead of a kitchen, there's now a hot spring. Hunter must clear quests given by the felyne near the hot spring entrance to increase health and stamina. Bonus skills can be bought from the felyne inside the hot spring area.

There's so much more but there's just too many. So that's it for now. Hope you have a fun yet productive week!

Mountain Adventure

There's this place called Dahilayan Adventure Park located somewhere near Del Monte's Pineapple Plantation in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

It's a 45-60 minute drive from Cagayan de Oro City. The place offers the longest dual zip-line in Asia making it a must-go spot.

It's a perfect place for anyone who wants to enjoy a simple mountain escapade and a break from the stressful city life.

They have picnic grounds perfect for a family's day out. (Entrance Fee= PhP50/person)

They have lodges for overnight stay. Take note: they have h.o.t. shower! ;-)

Hut is PhP1500 and has 1 double deck and 1 double sized bed.

The rest are freebies!

mountain view...

pine trees...

mountain ferns...

gardens and flowers...

Most tourists stop by Del Monte's pineapple plantation on the way to Dahilayan but we made the stop on the way back instead.

Everything the light touches is pineapple kingdom. -LOL!

We also passed by a banana plantation- not sure if it's also Del Monte's. The fruits are wrapped with blue plastic bags making them look like blue lanterns. ^0^

Naldo and I were to take this giant pineapple home but there was a kid watching. -lol!

All prices stated above are as of December 28, 2010 and may be subjected to change. So for up-to-date prices and detailed information on the location, please click Dahilayan Adventure Park or
