Valentine's Day Game

Yesterday we modified the game 20Q and made it a perfect Valentine's Day game. We call our version "Guess for Time". The objective was to win as many time scrolls as possible by guessing the word with yes-or-no questions.

On an orange heart post-it, I wrote a noun for Naldo to guess. I placed the post-it on his heart hat and set the timer to one minute. We took turns and every time one of us guessed the word that the other wrote, he or I get to pick a scroll from the "pitcher of time". We played the game for an hour. It was really enjoyable because we wrote nouns that were significant to us so it was quite a challenge and at the same time it brought back a lot of good memories. =)

After the game was when the real fun began. The time scrolls served like wish coupons. We asked each other to do special things within time limit depending on the time scrolls that each of us was able to collect. ^o^

The game is very simple yet romantic. It's a perfect anniversary activity. If you'd like to play this game, here's the time sheet that we made.

That's it for now. We hope you had an amazing Valentine's Day just like we did!

Happy Valentine's Day

Spending Valentine's Day is like a once a year hobby that people in love collectively do to make their special someone feel even more special. Some take the easy way via chocolates, flowers and fancy dinner while some do not spend at all and just be creative. Naldo and I... we're creative.-(***winks) I can't tell yet what I've planned because even though he knows I'm up to something, I still want today to be a bit of a surprise for him. For now, I just want to wish everyone a happy Valentine's Day.

For the record there really is such a "Happy Day" apple juice. Cute huh? Anyway, I love what Naldo did to the apples. =) Keep smiling!
